Founded in 1996, Shandong Gold Group is a key and major enterprise in Shandong Province and was transformed into a state-owned capital investment company in 2015. Shandong Gold Group has an advantage in the national gold industry in terms of gold output, resources and reserves, economic benefit, technical strength, intelligence, and talent. Shandong Gold Group has successively won the"China Industry Award", "National May 1st Labor Award","National Civilized Unit", "China Charity Award"and many other honors.

集团现为世界黄金协会正式会员，2019年、2020年黄金产量位列全球黄金企业第10位，2025年荣登世界500强榜单，是全球黄金领域具有重要影响力的标志性企业。集团所属4家矿山位列“中国十大黄金矿山”，拥有累计产金超百吨金矿4座、“吨金矿山”16座、保有资源量超百吨金矿10座，拥有全国首个年产金突破10吨的地下矿山，成功探获新立、东风、南吕—欣木、西岭4个过百吨超大型金矿床，其中世界级单体金矿床——西岭金矿探明金资源量达592吨。截至2025年底，全球员工约3.4万人，保有黄金资源量超过3000吨，各类矿产资源总价值超过万亿元。

As a full member of the World Gold Council, Shandong Gold Group ranked 10th worldwide for gold output among gold producers in 2019 and 2020. Its subsequent inclusion in the 2025 Fortune Global 500 cements the Group's standing as an iconic and influential leader in the global gold industry. The four mines of the Group are listed into "China Top Ten Gold Mines". Moreover, Shandong Gold Group has four mines with cumulative gold production exceeding 100 tonnes each, sixteen mines capable of producing over one tonne of gold, and owns 10 gold mines with mineral resources over 100 tons; it has China’s first underground mine with an annual gold output of more than 10 tonnes; it has also successfully explored four ultra-large gold deposits with individual resources exceeding 100 tonnes, namely Xinli, Dongfeng, Nanlv-Xinmu, and Xiling. Among them, the Xiling Gold Deposit, a world-class single gold deposit, has proven gold resources of 592 tonnes. By the end of 2025, Shandong Gold Group had approximately 34,000 employees worldwide, held over 3,000 tonnes of gold mineral resources, and possessed mineral resources of various types with a total value exceeding RMB 1 trillion.

Three companies were listed by Shandong Gold Group, including Shandong Gold Mining Co., Ltd. (600547. SH, 1787. HK) listed on the main boards of the Shanghai and Hong Kong stock exchanges, Shanjin International Gold Co., Ltd. (000975.SZ) listed on the main board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and Focus Minerals Ltd. (ASX:FML) listed on the Australian Stock Exchange, achieving the capital market participation in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Australia. Shandong Gold Mining Co., Ltd. has been taken as Sample Stock many times by SSE 50, SSE 180, and CSI 300, and three international indices (Mingsheng MSCI, FTSE Russell, and S&P Dow Jones). It has won China's Most Respected Listed Company by Investors, Exemplary Case of Corporate Governance, Leader in Investor Relations Management (IRM) and ESG Initiatives within the Listed Company Sector. It is currently the vice president company of China Association for Public Companies (CAPCO), and vice president company of the Listed Company Association of Shandong (SDLCA).

In order to grasp the opportunity of the new development stage, implement new development philosophy and integrate into the new development paradigm, Shandong Gold Group keeps focusing on the gold business，optimizing nonferrous metal business, stabilizing the trade of non-ferrous metals and creating its core competitiveness in an all-round way.
