嘉吉中国粮油

嘉吉是中国饲料谷物与油籽的主要供应商和贸易加工商之一，为客户提供来自全球市场的优质饲料谷物、非谷物饲料原料以及油料作物及产品。嘉吉目前在中国共经营五家油籽加工厂：其中三家在广东省，一家在江苏省，一家在河北省。

作为嘉吉全球农产品产业链的重要组成部分，我们在华从事大宗农产品的采购、加工、运输和分销，涉及大豆、油菜籽、玉米、豆粕、植物油，以及非谷物饲料原料等产品。我们的工厂以压榨进口大豆、生产优质豆粕和大豆油为主要运营业务。同时，我们从国内玉米主产区挑选高品质的玉米，并提供周全的物流解决方案，以满足客户需求。此外，我们也为客户量身定制风险管理服务。

Principal Accountabilities

35%   Positions and Trading

Assist the Trading Manager on covering different areas of risk management for the CASC North Asia including but not limited to:

·         Hedging cash purchases;

·         Trading futures in DCE and CBOT;

·         Arbitrating between cash and futures, including delivery on the exchange;

·         Report Open Interest/Trade Volume/carry structures and explore trading opportunities;

·         Keep trading position spread sheet updated (Long & Short);

·         Give the necessary guidance and learn from the different locations (offices or plants);

·         Keep World Trading Group (WTG) and Minneapolis fully informed on major developments in the DCE, cash markets and general environment in China;

·         Write daily recaps on the different commodities traded;

·         Write weekly recaps for the Chinese Risk Meeting on the different commodities traded.

25%   SND Management

·         Gather, analyze and input key information concerning the different agricultural products into the local Chinese S&D (supply and demand balance sheet);

·         Manage and keep the local S&D up to date. Discuss locally and with the different trading desks in Geneva;

·         Make weekly S&D changes report;

·         Connect with the different merchants on feed demand, and analyze and report the impacts in the market.

25%  Import/Export business

·         Daily communication with WTG and customers regarding market developments;

·         Conduct agency business for WTG for the different agricultural products;

·         Work together with trade execution/accounting/treasury/TSF functions to manage market and customer risk. Keep WTG on the loop.

15%  Price Collection Nationwide

·         Monitor the different agricualtural products’ prices in key locations, including Northeast origination areas, Dalian, Shangdong, YRB, Fujian and Guangdong;

·         Maintain & analyze daily cash prices and correlate them with DCE futures prices and world prices;

·         Report price changes in the various regions, more specifically on how price changes affect import and export economics.

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

·           Bachelor and above

·           Up to 2 years working experience in MNCs

Principal Accountabilities

Key deliverables are certain study projects, summarized into reports and presented to relevant teams; and data/database projects that have the results of improved efficiency in our data process.

50% S&D Analysis and Price Analytics Projects

·         Work on fundamental study projects to understand specific S&D and order flow components and build short/long term forecasts.

·         Learn from other analysts, commercial team, traders, customers, and other Cargill businesses for related business knowledge.

·         Collect, verify, and consolidate data, and build statistical models to transform those knowledge into clear and concise insights (in the form of numbers, tables, and charts).

·         Conduct studies to find relationships between S&D changes and market price movements.

·         Summarize reports and present study results to traders and other analysts.

30% Data and Database Management

·         Partner with other analysts and traders to understand how data is currently used, understand what data is relevant to their needs, and determine if data can be located that would improve their analytics, enhance their productivity, etc.

·         Data collection, with the goal of automating the collection process systematically; there is still manual data input needed.

·         Work with IT and global data analyst to make sure all data is stored properly locally or in global database, and easily accessed by who need it.

20% Support in Other Studies

·         Support in other (routine) works of GTA China.

·         Crop tours participation.

Support other GTA analysts and GTA group projects

Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

·           Master of Science in any subject; or Bachelor degree in Ag Economics, Economics, Statistics, or similar fields

·           Rational mindset and strong analytical skills

·           Statistical and data knowledge/experience

·           Curiosity mindset

·           Strong communication skills; ability to communicate complex verbal and written messages in a concise way

·           Can deal with ambiguity, and have passion to figure things out in a positive way

Preferred Qualifications

·           Master of Science in Ag Economics, Economics, Statistics, or similar fields

·           Proven ability to work effectively both in a small integrated team

·           Advanced statistical modelling skills or data skills
